Figure out if you’re going to be predator or prey before you even get out of bed. It just makes life simpler.

Sometimes a little game of “catch me, catch me” can be very fun.
Comment by Ina January 19, 2008 @ 11:28 amI’m wondering about this whole idea of getting out of bed.
It is snowing. I’m glad I’m an indoor critter.
Comment by Amoeboid Blurry Smile January 19, 2008 @ 11:54 amIna–absolutely! Playing at being prey for your mate is a Good Thing.
ABS–yes, indoors is better on snowy days.
Comment by thelittlefluffycat January 19, 2008 @ 11:59 amToo cold…not getting out of bed! Start stalking…I’m here!
Comment by sue2 January 19, 2008 @ 12:52 pmSome days you don’t get to choose!
Comment by tigereye January 19, 2008 @ 3:37 pmI’m definitely prey today. It’s 4:30 and I’m under the electric blanket with Spike.
You always choose, tigereye. Predator is predator, no matter what. You can be preyed on without turning into prey.
Comment by thelittlefluffycat January 19, 2008 @ 3:42 pmI am almost always the predator, it’s more fun that way. I also rather enjoy watching the prey squirm as I toy with it.
Comment by jojovtx1800 January 19, 2008 @ 4:55 pmI’m sadistic that way. :}
As a wise old cat once taught me, Jojo, the only thing we get to control in this life is ourselves.
Comment by thelittlefluffycat January 19, 2008 @ 5:00 pmOh this is wonderful advice!!
Comment by bibliomom January 19, 2008 @ 9:54 pmWow! You are so wise, LFC!
Comment by Scout January 20, 2008 @ 3:39 amHmm… today I should have not gotten out of bed.
Comment by pandemonic January 20, 2008 @ 9:05 amThank you, bibliomom, Scout!
Pan, you should have taken Frida to the office with you. Then at least your lap would have been warm.
Comment by thelittlefluffycat January 20, 2008 @ 12:33 pmThis is a good plan.
Comment by TheOtherIvy January 20, 2008 @ 7:22 pmEspecially with the 1st graders I work with tomorrow.
Ivy, great cunning is necessary when dealing with young ones.
Comment by thelittlefluffycat January 20, 2008 @ 8:32 pmIndeed. They are wily creatures prone to giggle fits and spills. Who knew the hobby horse in the lobby came apart so easily and could be wielded like a maniac’s staff? (We do, now).
Comment by TheOtherIvy January 20, 2008 @ 9:41 pmHuman young and sticks….ughhhh…..*shivers*
Comment by thelittlefluffycat January 20, 2008 @ 9:50 pmSometimes it’s fun for the predator to pretend to be prey.
Comment by Shawn W January 20, 2008 @ 10:55 pmMore fun than a bowl of kibble, under the right circumstances.
